"Cute as a Bug!"

Well, a bright eight-year old at the Ward Halloween party placed the pun. And it works quite well. When we first tried the costume on at home she wasn't quite sure what to think of the hood. Ok, she didn't like it. But when we got to the church and she was able to look at all the kids she didn't mind it at all. And she was SOOO adorable. Our little lady bug crawling around (coming soon on M-TV!) For now here are some pictures.

It's Amazing What New Curtains Can Do

In further efforts to update our house and make it beautiful we've finally changed the window treatments! M's high chair is right in front of the kitchen window and so she's taken to grabbing the curtains with her sweet potato hands. So we were looking for a way around that too. We ended up finding some awesome roman blinds. They look great! We love them! Bonus is we actually get to enjoy the new windows we put in last year. The daylight is better too!

Into Everything

M and crawling are going quite well. She's into everything! She likes to go in the small little "alleyways" that are behind chair legs and other furniture. Today I M-proofed the bedroom so I could take a shower and have her nearby. At least I thought I did. I had no idea there was anything behind the recliner and when I came out I couldn't find her...she was behind the recliner. It's fun! Got the stair gate up this week as she's an explorer on all accounts.

It sure is fun! And she's a joy. You should see her laugh at her daddy when she's on the swings. Oh and she giggled a ton at our neighbor's cat.

Clapping!

She's figured out how to clap! This is quite the treat. It's fun to see her so happy and playing with her hands. We went to a friend's and they had a little pair of cymbals. They work great with the whole clapping concept.
