Tea Party

This week was gorgeous. 50-60 degrees most days with no rain and very little in way of insects. We've been on the deck a ton. We had our friends over for a fire on Friday and they had us over tonight (try roasting starbursts). Anyway, M had a friend over the other day and the two of them decided to finish their lunch on the deck for a "tea party".

Our Little Photographer

M periodically grabs the camera and shoots pictures. These are a few of her recent works.

Cooking with Grandma

This is one of M's favorite past times...but you probably knew that.

F's Great Great Uncle

We had to take this picture. F's in his girman jammies and his Great Great Uncle was a volunteer firefighter for LONG time. His son died in the line of duty and his other son is currently fire chief in their home town.

MI Trip

We went to Michigan for Daddy's grandma's funeral. I expected winter and ended up with early spring. This is the little bit of snow play we had. M really enjoyed jumping in the mud puddles instead. The "hat" on top of the snowman was M's own creation, a "snow puppy" that we turned into a hat for the big snowman. It melted nearly completely the next day. The funeral day was a gorgeous 60 degrees!

YW Luau

So the Young Women's Camp Fundraiser dinner this year was a Luau-themed party. My YW President came up with this idea to make palm trees out of paper. She taught me and I made this one. Isn't it so cool! It was very successful and the girls had fun.

First Dentist's Visit

No cavities! She was very quiet but loved the attention. She said the tooth polishing tickled but she made sure she didn't giggle. When I got home from my appointment she wanted to know, in all seriousness, if I'd "giggled".

Winter Beauty

This is looking out over a finger of the Bay at sunset. Drove past this on our way to an out of the way restaurant on our last date. We had some of the best fried seafood (oysters, shrimp and crab cakes) and french fries I've ever had. And their remoulade sauce was amazing! Not to mention the view of the water.

Boy after my own heart.

Not only is he gnawing on brocolli and loves to put lettuce in his mouth but he also LOVES, LOVES, LOVES refried beans.
(M wanted a picture too.)
