Bubbles!

M has a new word. She discovered it while we were at swim class. There's a fountain that makes bubbles and she pointed to them and said, "bubble", in her sweet and adorable way. We had just seen lots of bubbles at storytime the day before so it appears she remembered them. So we went home and got the bubbles out. It's so cute. Now she thinks balls are bubbles too!

Bed Head

Because M has such fine hair it does some awesome things. Especially first thing in the morning!

Talking...

It's decided. M enjoys talking. We're just waiting for the words. Sometimes she'll just carry on in whole conversations of gibberish and we know that somewhere down this road is a little girl who is going to ask lots of questions and always want to talk. When she has a cell phone in hand she goes between pushing the buttons and talking. She's starting to do more talking now, instead of pushing buttons in the poor person's ear. When she has a play phone she frequently puts it up by her shoulder/neck/almost ear and talks. Often the first thing out of her mouth is something quite like her own name but more like her cousin's. We caught her talking to Daddy recently and thought we'd share.

Our Big Helper

M wants to be helpful. So we decided to channel the energy. She can now help unload the silverware from the dishwasher and has her own feather duster. The unloading part is really helpful as her hands are smaller and can get the sippy cup valves easily. The feather duster is to encourage the help but is just fun right now.
