Pulling Up --- And Falling Down

Our little M learned how to pull herself up recently. Couches, her crib, door jams, mommy's leg ... these are now all dangerous as she has not learned how to sit down instead of falling down. Much to our fright we cringe whenever we can't catch her on the way down. It's got to hurt. Sometimes she cries, sometimes not. Babies are amazing! Even the bathtub is more dangerous than before...didn't think that was possible. Not only does she try to climb out but because she's slippery she'll slide down and you hope she doesn't hit her chin or something.

Oh the trials of being eight months...or the mommy of an eight month old.

Oh, I feel your pain! We started talking seriously about getting a baby helmet for Thomas, since it didn't matter how many times he whacked his head on the hard wood floors, he just kept pulling up! Tyra on the otherhand practiced sitting down over and over before she did anything else. Good luck!

Yeah, not looking forward to that phase. Hopefully, when the time comes, he will be as mellow about it as your little one.
