Yes, I've Finally Started our Blog

After months, dare I say years, of my siblings telling me to start my blog here we go. M's website it all well and good but sometimes there are family things too. Life's exciting for us as M starts crawling and pulling herself up. She discovered the stairs this week and knows what it sounds like when someone is coming down. It's fun to see her watching for you as you come down. Daddy's busy as can be as he's on the home guard and has class every day. That will soon be over though -- tour doesn't last forever AND graduation is in DECEMBER!!

This last month we worked hard to get the outside of our house looking nice. Daddy patched what turned out to be stucco around the base of our house and then we primed and painted it all. He also spent a large amount of time stripping, sanding, and painting the front door. We even put in a new doorknob...which led to an episode of Heather being locked out...The final product is beautiful!! A week ago the weather was beautiful and we finished it all up and Mommy even mowed and edged the front lawn. It feels great to walk up to such a spiffy looking house.
